Make Up Lessons
What happens when a child misses a lesson?
Child can attend the other class of the same level within the same week (online or on-site). Otherwise, live recording of lesson will be sent within 3 working days (password protected) with up to 1 hour of consultation, subjected to availability of both student and teacher.
What happens when a child is sick?
If the child is well enough to attend online lesson, Zoom details and worksheets will be sent via WhatsApp and uploaded on Padlet for downloading.
If child is unfit to attend any lesson, point (1) will apply.
Payment / Fees
How are fees made and collected?
Fees are collected on a monthly basis, depending on the number of lessons per month. If there are 5 lessons in that month, fees will be collected for 5 lessons for that month. You may pay the fees via PayNow or PayLah.
When are fees collected?
Fees are collected at the end of previous month.
Can fees be refunded ?
Fees paid are strictly non-refundable.
Is there any deposit, registration fees or hidden cost?
Fees are flat rate. Fees paid include all worksheets and notes.
No deposit and registration fees are required.
What happens when a child is on long term Medical Leave or Hospitalization Leave?
Please contact us for special consideration.
Any discount for signing up for both Mathematics and Science lessons?
For a child who attends both Mathematics and Science classes of the same level, $10 off monthly fees per subject per month will be given.
Any discount for referral?
Yes. For every successful referral, current student of ThinkBox Education will be entitled to one-time $10 discount for the following month’s bill.

What is the maximum number of students per class?
Up to 8 students per class
Are the teachers trained?
Teacher Evonne and Teacher Elaine are ex-MOE teachers with more than 15 years of teaching experience.
Does ThinkBox Education use any assessment books?
We curate our own curriculum and create in-house worksheets and notes based on MOE latest syllabus
What if a child have problems understanding the lessons ?
We are committed to your child’s learning. Every week, we recap what was learnt in the previous lesson. Our homework are customizable that enable us to address and close students’ gaps that are identified.
If the child can’t understand a skill/concept taught, the teacher will address it in class. Depending on individual needs, subject teacher may arrange to meet up with the child outside class time, before or after class to address the gap. Subject teacher may also contact parent to arrange for an optional extra support lesson at an extra cost.
